Sharing from the Seven Grandfather Teachings at the April 13th Conference Day

On Saturday, April 13th Michelle and Mary joined us to share their knowledge with us about the Seven Grandfather Teachings. We spent the first part of our day learning about each teaching while having an opportunity to reflect on what each one meant to ourselves. In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to make our own Seven Grandfather Teachings kit.

I chose to do our land acknowledgement differently for this time together; each table had a little write up and some reflective questions. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their reflections with me – you can read the anonymous reflections and responses below. At the end of the day, Michelle encouraged us to share the knowledge we had learnt from our time together with others. ELQI has a Seven Grandfather Teachings Story & Puppet kit you can request from the ELQI library. I will be adding printed copies of the pictures we were given to choose from to make our own Seven Grandfather Teachings kits – you can use these pictures to make your own kit.
