The ELQI and Travelling Tales Library is free for educators working in the early learning and childcare community in the City of Kawartha Lakes and the County of Haliburton.
In addition to the scheduled open times, you can reach out to arrange visiting at a different time that works for you; these times can be weekdays during the day, weekday evenings or weekend.
Did you know when you visit the ELQI and Travelling Tales Library it can support your professional learning? In addition to accessing over 1600 materials and resources to support your learning, you are also able to reach out before attending a scheduled open time if there is a specific topic you would like to discuss more; you are welcome to do this as an individual library visitor and as part of a small group who have a common interest you would like to discuss more together.
You will notice on the document included on this post that the library will be open one Saturday a month again.
New in October, I will be highlighting a focus of the library each month. This focus will include new invitations set up weekly related to the monthly focus. Educators will be able to borrow materials and resources that were used from the library once the invitation is complete.
October’s focus will be on exploring play with lights and shadows.
