International Women’s Day (IWD) falls on March 8th – it is a day to celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness about discrimination and to take action to drive gender parity (source: IWD website).
This year, ELQI was able to purchase materials to share with licensed childcare and EarlyON programs in the City of Kawartha Lakes and County of Haliburton. These materials are in the process of being delivered this week; if you haven’t received yours yet, it is on its way!
