PD opportunity (Inclusive Practices Through Universal Design) February 29, 2024

The Early Learning Quality Initiative and Early Learning Resource Program continue to welcome placement students and supporting their placement expectations for each of their programs.

We are fortunate to have a professional learning opportunity being offered on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 7-8:30 pm by a current Resource Consultant student. We are hoping educators will be able to join us in person (at our Lindsay office) for this session.

More about this upcoming PD opportunity:
Join RECE and Resource Consultant student Cheri Patrick-Wilson for a live presentation on inclusive practices through universal design. To be accessible for all, what should centres take into consideration concerning the physical space, materials, pedagogy, and training? Cheri will draw on her experience and knowledge as a disabled educator, supervisor at a non-profit organization, business owner, and disability advocate.

You can register here to participate in this professional development opportunity.

For those attending in-person, please remember our office (CLTH Lindsay office: 205 McLaughlin Road) is a scent sensitive building.
There is also a scent allergy to cinnamon and all citrus.  Please do not bring or use anything with these scents prior to visiting our office that contain these scents (such as: food, drinks, candy/gum, scented lotions/hand sanitizer, essential oils, etc.).
