Did you know today is the 23rd annual Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day?
Our local communities in the City of Kawartha Lakes and County of Haliburton are fortunate to have so many incredible educators and staff in their centres and programs. We know the list of what you do each and every day can become quite long when we start looking at all that you do; while it may seem it goes unnoticed, please know even when it isn’t acknowledged on a regular basis, it is very much appreciated!
Today, we invite you to share your gratitude for all of the amazing educators and staff working in our centres and programs. We also invite you to share your gratitude in the comments for others to read!
We will continue to advocate and share the message that ECEs & Child Care Workers are WORTH MORE! We would also like to thank the Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario and Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care for their continued advocacy efforts for our profession.
Please take a minute to share the poster with educators, staff, families and others to share the message from the Children’s Services Team at the City of Kawartha Lakes and County of Haliburton, Early Learning Quality Initiative (ELQI) and Early Learning Resource Program at Community Living Trent Highlands. You will also find this poster on our Facebook and Instagram accounts if you would like to share from there.
