We know our early learning and childcare community seeing similar challenges in communities across the conference when it comes to staffing and there is just not enough RECEs to fill what is needed.
I was able to attend an information session last week where Fleming College shared information about an opportunity it is offering to help those currently working in the sector: the Early Childhood Education (Advanced Standing) Program.
You can find more information, including admission requirements and how to apply, in the slides attached. Included in the slides is information about how to access the ECE Grants to apply for funding to help with the costs completing this course. This is a great video to watch (also included in the slides from Fleming) to learn more about how to access the ECE Grants Application Portal.
