As we turn the calendar to welcome March, I realize I need to share the upcoming PD opportunities a little sooner than the first of the month. Starting next month, I will have things ready to share a week earlier to ensure there is plenty of time to register for upcoming PD opportunity the following month.
There are a number of different PD opportunities offered in March; many of them offer the choice to attend in-person or virtually. You can find the registration links in the attached document.
Be sure to check out the opportunity to join us on Saturday, March 25th to visit the “Mosaic of Marks, Words, Materials” exhibit in Toronto. Space is limited for this opportunity to join the Augmented Group visit.
If you are planning to join in person, please keep in mind:
- masks are still required in our building and you will be asked to complete a screening when you arrive
- there is a scent allergy to cinnamon and citrus. Please do not bring any food or drinks with you that would have these scents and please be mindful to not use anything prior to your arrival that would have a lingering scent (such as hair/body products, sanitizer, essential oils, etc.).
Edited to add this update: Please note, the registration for the trip to the “Mosaic of Marks, Words, Materials” exhibit in Toronto will be closing on Wednesday, March 15th at 10 pm.
These PD opportunities are available at no cost to educators and staff working within our local early learning and childcare community in the City of Kawartha Lakes and County of Haliburton.
