Book Study #3: “Lisa Murphy on Play – The foundation of children’s learning” by Lisa Murphy

Are you new to the field of Early Childhood Education?

Have you been in the field for awhile and need some inspiration to help you think about your practice?

If so, this is the book study for you! Lisa Murphy, the ‘Ooey Gooey Lady’, explains the importance of doing 7 things (create, move, sing, discuss, observe, read and play) everyday in a way that is easy to understand.

You can join in-person or virtually for this 5 week book study happening on Monday’s March 20, 27, April 3, 17 and 24 (please note there is no discussion taking place on the Easter Monday stat holiday).

Here is a link to some videos of Lisa Murphy to get you excited about this great book!

Dawn Barnes will be facilitating this book study discussion and you will have the opportunity to join in person on virtually. You can register here until 9 pm on Sunday, March 5th (this has been extended from March 2nd).

If you would like to borrow a book from the ELQI library, there is a limited number available and will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
