Winter

I admit, I am not winter’s biggest fan; I’m not really a fan of winter at all to be honest. While I do not enjoy the cold or dealing with the snow and ice that comes with this time of year, I do find I appreciate the beauty that can be found in winter. Whether it is the glistening of the freshly fallen and undisturbed snow, the snowflakes falling softly or how the snow is sitting on surfaces – there is beauty to be found.

While I may not be the first one to initiate each time, I do enjoy playing in the snow with my children. I also find winter is a time when I get lost in reading great books!

How do you find joy in these cold, wintery months?

I took these photos one morning in November when I arrived at the office; it was one of the first snowfalls of the season. This is one of those times where I appreciated the beauty of the snow and noticed how it sat on the branches in different ways.
