We are going to start our 2023 book studies off with the book “The Person You Mean To Be – How Good People Fight Bias” by Dolly Chugh. We will meet on Thursday evenings for 4 weeks beginning January 19th from 7-8 pm.
This book study will offer you to join us one of two ways: in person (at our Lindsay office at 205 McLaughlin Road) or virtually (on Zoom). Each participant will receive a copy of the discussion guide available for this book.
This professional development opportunity is available to educators and staff working within centres/programs in our local (City of Kawartha Lakes and County of Haliburton) early learning and childcare community for free.
If you would like to borrow a library copy of this book, please know they will be available on a first come/first served basis. If you would like to borrow the book over the holidays to start your reading, please ensure you register by Friday, December 16th to ensure there is time to get it to you before the holidays.
Registration closes January 9th, 2023.
You can find all the book study details (and more information about the book) through this registration link.
