We are excited to share with you an opportunity to recognize the great work being done by educators and staff within our early learning and childcare community in the City of Kawartha Lakes and County of Haliburton.
Starting today, you are able to nominate a co-worker or colleague (working within licensed childcare: home and centre, EarlyON, Authorized Recreation and Special Needs Resourcing in the City of Kawartha Lakes and County of Haliburton) in 6 different categories: Continual Learner, Mentor, Leader, New Educator/Staff, Advocacy and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice & Accessibility.
All nominations for each Shining Star will be recognized in each category and one will be selected as the 2022 Shining Star. All nominations and 2022 Shining Stars will be shared publicly on our blog and social media. We will announce the Shining Star for each category at our Appreciation Dinner on December 1st; the person you are nominating does not have to be in attendance.
Be sure to get your nominations in by 9 pm on Sunday, November 27th and to ensure the nomination is eligible, make sure the person you are nominating works within a program (listed above) within the City of Kawartha Lakes and County of Haliburton and that all fields on the Google form are completed.
